A Cross a Day was a “365 project,” in which I committed to making one cross each day for an entire year, from 2014-2015. I saw this as an opportunity to experiment with different media and materials on a small, “bite-size” scale. The cross is iconic, full of history and meaning. It’s a symbol of faith, reverence, inspiration and hope. Nevertheless, this project was primarily artistic—not religious—in intent and nature.
